A stunning and very relaxed sunset spot with chill music. Excellent, attentive service. We ordered a total of seven different dishes, all of which were delicious. The ceviche is especially recommended, as is the sourdough bread. Great value for money.

Truly an incredible place, not to be missed! Their new menu is delicious and their cocktails are really good! The servers are so friendly; they even lent us a Uno game when they saw us playing with dice! The service was super fast, and what can I say about the view? 😍

How This Fits Koh Phangan's Vegan Scene

Koh Phangan is one of the best islands in Asia for plant-based eating, and almost all of it is concentrated in one village. Srithanu, on the west coast, has a cluster of wholefood cafés serving the yoga and wellness community that has grown up around it — raw plates, smoothie bowls, fermented everything, and some genuinely excellent cooking.

That scene has one consistent gap: it is a daytime proposition. It is built around people who eat early, so several of the best kitchens close between lunch and evening. Ask any long-stay vegan on this island where to eat dinner and you will get a pause.

That gap is the reason this exists. A vegan restaurant in Koh Phangan that serves in the evening, at a table you would take someone to, with a view over the whole west coast — rather than a café with the shutters half down at six. Two-thirds of the menu is entirely plant-based, every dessert is, and there is no land meat anywhere on it.

It also solves the other problem vegans have here, which is eating with people who are not vegan. The remaining third of the menu is wild-caught seafood, so a mixed table orders from one list instead of negotiating. Nobody is stuck with a side salad and nobody has to pick the restaurant around one person's diet.

For the full picture of the island — including the Srithanu places we would send you to for lunch — our guide to the best vegan restaurants in Koh Phangan covers them honestly, and the whole-food plant-based guide is for anyone avoiding processed vegan products entirely.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a dish plant-based here?

Every plant-based dish is built without eggs, dairy or land meat, and there is no land meat anywhere on the menu. The protein comes from pulses, mushrooms, nuts and vegetables rather than from substitutes.

Do you serve eggs or dairy anywhere?

No. Every plant-based dish is made without eggs or dairy, and there is no land meat anywhere on the menu.

I have a dairy allergy — what should I know?

Every plant-based dish is made without eggs, dairy or land meat. We cook everything in one working kitchen, so if you are managing a severe allergy please tell us when you book — the chef will go through the dish with you and give you a straight answer.

What are your most popular vegan dishes?

Hard to name just one — the menu is chef-curated with something for almost every taste, from the New Delhi Arancini and Cauliflower Tacos through to the salads and the desserts.

Can vegans and seafood eaters dine together?

Yes — that is exactly what the menu is built for. Two-thirds of it is entirely plant-based and one-third is wild-caught seafood, so mixed-diet couples and groups order from the same list.
