Adults-Only Restaurants & Bars on Koh Phangan
The island has no shortage of adults-only resorts. Places to eat and drink are a much shorter list.
Search for adults-only anything on Koh Phangan and you will get resorts. Page after page of them — infinity pools, spa packages, couples’ retreats. What you will struggle to find is somewhere to eat that has an age policy.
That gap is real, and it is worth explaining before the list, because "adults-only" turns out to mean several different things here.
What the label actually means
There is no standard. In practice you will encounter three versions:
A real policy
A stated minimum age, usually 18 or 21, applied at the door. Rare among restaurants.
A resort rule
Common. The property is adults-only for guests, but the restaurant may take outside bookings on different terms.
A vibe, not a rule
The venue describes itself as adults-only meaning "not aimed at families". Children are not actually turned away. Worth checking if it matters either way.

Included honestly rather than as a match: it is family-friendly, but Yukinoya’s teppanyaki counter is an adult space in practice and the setting is calm.
That is genuinely most of it. If you know of others, we would rather hear about them and add them than pretend the list is longer than it is.
A word on the other side of this
An age policy is not a judgement about anyone’s family. Koh Phangan is, on the whole, a welcoming island for children — the beaches are shallow and calm, and the overwhelming majority of restaurants here are delighted to see them.
The handful of adults-only venues exist because a small, quiet space at sunset is a different product from a busy one, and a few owners have chosen to build the former. If you are travelling with children, the rest of the island is wide open to you — and worth every bit of it.
